Trouble finding a gift for the business person or entrepreneur who has everything? Why not A computer case? This is the perfect present because a well designed computer case will not only help to get someone organized, but is also the most comfortable way to carry a laptop. A laptop may not seem heavy, but after you have carted it around an airport or train station for a while, it will suddenly seem to get heavier with every step.
Look For A Good Fit
The size of a laptop is defined by the size of the screen, it is important to choose a computer case which is suitable for the laptop it is going to carry. It is not sensible to buy a computer case in the largest possible size – if the laptop is much smaller it will simply shift around constantly inside the case and will annoy the person carrying it! You cannot fill the extra space in this section of the computer case as you would risk damaging some of the connection sockets on the laptop. If you have extra item to carry you should choose a computer case which has extra pockets or more sections.
Once you have chosen a computer case into which your computer sits snuggly, you must then check that there is adequate padding around the computer to ensure that your laptop does not get damaged at the slightest bump. computer cases are not designed to be thrown at walls, but it should provide enough padding to be bumped into on a crowded train with out causing concern. If you think the padding is insufficient keep looking, it is not worth buying a computer case which you are constantly having to check.
The other main thing to consider when choosing your computer case is when you will be using it, and for what period of time you will be carrying it. If you are meeting several clients a day in different location and you will be constantly be taking it on and off you need a computer case which will easily slide on and off over your work clothes. If on the other hand you will be commuting to work on a bike you will need one which is very adjustable so it will fit snugly when you wear it. It would be wise to check what material yur computer case is made from, most are splashproof. if you think you are going to have to take your computer out in severe weather it is possibly worth investing in a specialist computer case, that is waterproof.
Finally the price is to be considered. Unfortunately, as with many products you get what you pay for. This does not mean that anything other than the most expensive computer case will not do the job, but it is probably worth choosing a brand name as you do need reliability – having a strap break while traveling is not only inconvenient, but can also damage an expensive and important piece of equipment.
